Oh. My. Goodness.

This place is AMAZING.

The Candy Store in Nanton looks adorable from the outside. The moment you step in, it’s overwhelmingly, delightfully FILLED with candy.

This is where the expression “like a kid in a candy store” comes from.

M&Ms at The Candy Store in Nanton

On our drive home from Beauvais Lake Provincial Park, we passed through the adorable town of Nanton along Highway 2. A sweet shop lover, I’d heard of Nanton’s candy shop and begged Hubby to stop (not an easy thing when it involves trying to park a trailer in unknown parts!).

Also, don’t miss the antiques along the far wall and the Foothills ice cream (32 flavours at any given time) to the right of the entrance.

I truly can’t say enough about this amazing this place is. I have a new “must stop” along Highway 2 south of Calgary! But don’t just take my word on it – read the TripAdvisor reviews!

I spent under $10 on a dozen suckers for me and the kids (from the rack behind the flower pots in this photo). I LOVE their cube suckers and my Minecraft obsessed kid was equally impressed!
